ABOUT ME
My name is Carol and I have been in graphic design since I graduated from Western Illinois University. More than 20 years later I went back to school for my Masters of Science degree. I now work full time and also run a successful Etsy store.
​
I love designing stickers, notepads, sticky notes, logos, brochures, posters, vinyl decals, buttons, and lots of other stuff! I also love walking, dogs, painting, clay, and listening to true crime podcasts.
​
This is Charlie with me in the picture. He is our 3rd Yorkie rescue. He was about 6 months old when we adopted him. He enjoys helping me out in the shop, sleeping, and his stuffed carrot.
​
He can often be found in my home office on top of furniture getting in to all sorts of trouble.
We just adopted GusGus at the beginning of June 2024. He was a stray in Tennessee and was then transferred to TAPS Rescue in Pekin, Illinois. He is just the cutest little guy.
He is about 5 and has arthritis. He is on pain meds now and gets lots of exercise.
Charlie is showing him the ropes of running a design business.
My husband and I love these little guys.

You'll notice in my Etsy shop, lots of stickers revolve around dogs/rescue. I want them all to have homes. Don't shop, adopt!
I have wanted to be an artist since I was about 12 years old.
Here I am with my cousin Cheryl and our friend Jennie, circa 1975(?) in front of our local library.
Cheryl's mom let us use a Santa template she brought with her from Germany. We were extremely careful with it! Aunt Edna would have killed us if we ruined it.
Mrs. Beeley, the Librarian, was gracious enough to let us use the library window.
MY WORK
Much of my work is done for individuals and businesses in Macomb, Illinois.
I have done business cards, brochures, logos, menus and lots more.
My work listed below in the shop and on the Etsy site is much more loose and reflective of my true self. It shows elements of things I love like animals, true crime themes, and feminism.
